Close to Sorrento, Portsea, Rye foreshore, Gunnamatta, St. Andrew's Beach, Cape Shank light house, Red Hill, Arthurs Seat, and the Rye Surf Beach. A perfect getaway for lovers of golf, wine, fishing, water sports, horse riding, the beach and exploring, to name but a few.

 

Only a 10 min drive from Sorrento, where you can catch the ferry to explore Queenscliff for a day trip. With or without a car the Ferry is a pleasant journey that arrives at the Historic town. You may be lucky enough to have the dolphins lead the way as we have many times.

 

Other close by attractions includes the famous Peninsula Natural Hot Springs. The day spa is 4.4 kms from the property.

 

If you love golf, within a short drive you can play at the famous Moonah Links, where the Australia Open Champions played.

 

By car just down Browns Road is The Dunes, approx 2km, 2mins, Moonah Links Golf Club, 6.4km 8mins, Eagle Ridge, 6.7km, 9 min,, St Andrews Golf Course, 6.7km 9mins, Bay Views Golf Course 12.3km, 13min,The National Cape Shank 14.9km 16mins, Sorrento Golf Club, 12.3km 16mins or Portsea Golf Club 13.8km 13 min. The area is well known for having over a dozen quality Golf Courses.

 

For the wine lovers, a short drive will arrive at some of the best wineries in Australia - and the World, there are many winery tours available, including a horseback wine tour. Red Hill brewery creates classic European beer styles, or you can do courses on making your own Gin. Many have restaurants on the properties.

 

The Strawberry Farm is the best way to sample local fresh produce, or spend the day at Arthurs Seat, where you will find the maze that includes a tree top walk tree surfing. There is another stunning maze towards Hastings. Spend the end of the day horse riding on the beach with the Gunnamatta horse riding facilities, where you can ride into the sunset.
